The reason for our local and national success is that at Trinity School, we take an individual approach to each pupil’s education. The combination of academic excellence varied extra-curricular provision and excellent pastoral care, without sacrificing one element over another, is at the very heart of what we do. This approach allows and supports pupils to grow into well-rounded individuals, equipped with the skills needed to succeed at school and, most importantly, after school. We pride ourselves on the welcoming and family atmosphere present in all sections of our school community. While I am delighted that we continue to win many awards and recognition, seeing pupils grow from taking their first steps in education in our nursery class to leaving Sixth Form as confident young adults ready for the outside world is something truly special.

It boasts a strong military history and years of experience in supporting children from armed forces families.
Founded in 1863, Windermere School is one of the United Kingdom’s leading small schools. The school motto Vincit qui se vincit- one conquers, who conquers oneself, exemplifies why we give our pupils access to world-class opportunities every day. In short, we challenge our pupils to excel in everything that they do. Nestled within 45 acres of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and Lake District National Park, a landscape that inspired writers such as Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth, Windermere School enjoys one of the most picturesque locations in the Lake District and arguably the best school view globally.
Set in the heart of North Nottinghamshire’s stunning rural landscape, we are a community with an extraordinary history and an exciting future. We want our students to be the best they can be. If destined to join one of the world’s finest universities, here is where they will flourish. If an outstanding sportsperson, here is where they will hone their skills, a talented artist or musician, here is where they will perfect their craft – and if these talents are yet to be revealed, here is where they’ll be discovered. At our school, what matters is the individual, their aspirations and their future. Come and visit us, we are looking forward to meeting you and your family.
